To offer shelter and rehabilitation to wild animals rescued from either illegal trafficking, hunters or domesticated wild animals rejected by their owners. The key goal of the rehabilitation is to return the animal to their natural habitat.
Education
Education and training courses such as Tacana, English, Math and environmental education will be offered. These classes will be delivered by local teachers and volunteers.
Community Health
A health fund has been created through the contributions from volunteers. This fund is accessible to community members in cases of emergencies, accidents and illnesses.
La Cruz Verde Bolivia Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit community project which was first founded in 2020 by Frédéric Bordier alongside the Carmen Florida indigenous community. The centre focuses on the rehabilitating wild animals, conserving the surrounding environment and providing health and education to the community.
