VIDA SILVESTRE EN LA CRUZ VERDE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

La vida silvestre en La Cruz Verde es variada y excepcionalmente magn\u00edfica, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“\"Apu\", Mono Aullador<\/strong> (Alouatta<\/em> Semiculus) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apu fue rescatado en Rurrenabaque tras el ataque de un perro. Inicialmente fue tra\u00eddo a la ciudad como mascota por personas que cazaban a sus padres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahora es un beb\u00e9 en crecimiento feliz, trepando en la jungla cerca del centro. Una vez que se convierta en un adulto independiente, esperamos reintegrarlo por completo. Esta es una tarea complicada, pero su h\u00e1bitat natural es el lugar al que pertenece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“\"Ibo\", Carpincho<\/strong> (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ibu was rescued in the town of Rurrenabaque. He was found alone without parents and without a group. As he was only 1-2 weeks old, this was extremely upsetting. Fortunately, he has adopted fantastically to the centers area, moving and swimming freely. We hope that he will soon find fellow Capybara’s that roam around the center. (He’s no longer in the centre)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"La<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

“\"Tiby\", Tapir<\/strong> (Tapirus terrestris<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tiby is a free living Tapir from the amazon. Being raised in different indigenous communities of the area she has always been free to move where ever she wanted. Unfortunately she is too used to people, this is what we need to change. She is a constant VIP guest of the center, getting hygiene, food and attention (controlled of course!). (She’s no longer in the centre)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

“\"Milo, Mono Ardilla<\/strong> (Saimiri boliviensis<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milo fue rescatado y llevado al centro por la gente local. Su pasado sigue siendo desconocido, pero estaba muy desnutrido cuando lleg\u00f3 por primera vez. Ahora, es un joven mono ardilla fuerte e incansable. Esperamos unirlo con un grupo de monos ardilla de vida libre cerca del centro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“\"Dagan\", Tuc\u00e1n<\/strong> (Ramphastos toco<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dagan tambi\u00e9n fue rescatado en la ciudad, luego de que las autoridades locales nos llamaran para cuidar al tuc\u00e1n perdido. Como le cortaron las alas, suponemos que fue domesticado. \u00a1Tener animales salvajes como mascotas es ilegal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahora, esperamos reintegrarlo al h\u00e1bitat natural mientras sus alas vuelven a crecer. Estamos seguros de que volar\u00e1 hacia la libertad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
